Thank you so much, Rob, for your wonderful review! Helping people is truly at the heart of what I do, and I’m grateful to be involved in incredible local organizations that make a difference.

One organization especially dear to me is Community Partners for Affordable Housing (CPAH). CPAH is dedicated to creating and preserving affordable housing in our communities, ensuring that individuals and families have access to stable, quality homes. They provide resources, financial assistance, and education to help people achieve homeownership and housing security.

Supporting organizations like CPAH is one way I give back, and I’m honored to be a part of their mission.

Big things are cooking in Highland Park!

A brand-new, upscale restaurant is set to open in the heart of the Ravinia District at 565 Roger Williams Ave., and it’s shaping up to be a must-visit destination for food lovers. Brought to life by Community Restaurant Group, this exciting addition will feature American cuisine cooked over open flames, promising bold flavors and a top-tier dining experience.

What makes it even more exciting? A James Beard Award-winning chef will be leading the culinary charge, ensuring a menu that’s both innovative and mouthwatering. The restaurant’s design will reflect its menu—a perfect balance of whimsy and warmth, offering a welcoming yet elevated atmosphere that’s lively, creative, and family-friendly.

With 130 indoor seats and 100 outdoor seats, guests will have plenty of space to enjoy their meals, and the outdoor patio is expected to be open 8-10 months of the year, weather permitting. The restaurant plans to serve dinner seven nights a week, brunch on weekends, and may even expand to weekday lunch and private events.

Highland Park’s Plan and Design Commission has already approved a request to remove seven parking spaces to accommodate outdoor dining, and the final step is approval from the City Council.

More details—like the restaurant’s name—are still under wraps, but one thing’s for sure: Highland Park’s dining scene is about to get a delicious upgrade! Stay tuned for updates on this exciting opening.

🍀 Chicago is going green—literally! 💚

It’s that time of year again when the city kicks off St. Patrick’s Day in the most iconic way possible—by dyeing the Chicago River a vibrant emerald green. This beloved tradition dates back to 1962 when the plumbers’ union first used an environmentally friendly dye to transform the river into a shimmering sea of green, paying homage to the city’s rich Irish heritage.

The magical moment happens early in the morning, as boats glide through the water, releasing the secret formula that turns the river into a breathtaking sight. But blink, and you might miss it! The color only lasts for about 24-48 hours, making it a must-see spectacle.

So grab your best green gear, head downtown, and soak in the St. Paddy’s Day spirit—because no one does it quite like Chicago!
